ABOUT REBECCA
Rebecca C. Green was born in Centreville, VA and developed a passion for art and literature early in life. She started creating as soon as she was old enough to grasp a crayon. During her schooling years, she published short stories and poetry in multiple local newspapers and engaged in various performing arts including theatre, dance, gymnastics, and choir. She began to primarily focus her concentration on visual art later in high school. She received some formal training through programs at the Torpedo Factory and the Northern Virginia Institute for the Arts (IFTA) as a child, and eventually attended the Virginia Commonwealth University to major in Sculpture. Due to a combination of unexpected events and the meandering path of life, she later changed majors and obtained a Bachelor's in Science in Sociology and Psychology in 2012. She currently works as a Social Media Manager and Veterinary Receptionist at Union Veterinary Clinic in Washington, D.C. while painting commissions, crafting, attending metal concerts, reading, and hiking in her spare time.
